This Robert Finlayson painting has always been a great favourite of many people. The setting is the kitchen in the terrace house at Leichhardt (Sydney) which was Bob's residence from the late 80s till the late 90s. His easel was set up in the kitchen and it was there he did most of the artworks from that era. The cream door led to the lounge room, the blue door to the outside.
